The grace of gold borders combines with the joy of pretty garden flowers to create romance. There are some tiny dots here and there because the teacup was created over 80 years ago. Any imperfections in the clay appeared decades later under the glaze.
In 1966 the holding company was acquired by Wedgwood and RH & SL Plant Ltd. was re-named "Royal Tuscan" and continued as a manufacturing unit of the Wedgwood Group. This particular backstamp was issued in 1936 at the Tuscan Works in Longton, England.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2.25" high and 3.9" from rim to rim.
This antique tea cup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. We describe all that we see. There exists a tiny mold mark under the saucer from the time of manufacturing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
