High society delighted in fur and the coats have seen a revival in vintage clothing.
This particular dark brown jacket is faux fur, NOT real fur. The lining is in rosy orange satin. There are no initials inside. The manufacturer is "OuterLayers". The tag inside says it is size 11/12. It is made of polyester and acetate.
There are two front pockets that are 5" long on the lower front.
Part of the design features a clever art deco design near the collar.
It came from a smoke free home. From the collar seam to the bottom of the coat, in back, it measures 30". From the under armhole to armhole in back is 20". From the shoulder seam to the bottom of the cuff is 25". From the shoulder seam to shoulder seam at the top of the coat, it is 15".
It would probably fit a medium. Please read the measurements to be sure for you. We are not experts at sizing. The size label saying 11/12 is probably different than a label like that today.
This was purchased from an estate.
This jacket is in excellent condition. It is clean, soft and supple. There are no tears, wear spots or stains. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers.
