Royal Standard Fine Bone China of England crafted this stunning tea cup and saucer.
Some pieces are pretty, even beautiful, but this antique teacup and saucer is breathtaking. There is no gold loss or paint loss. It is full size which means it holds 6 fluid ounces. The gold borders remind one of Versailles. The ruffles are subtle. The footed base and elegant handle are trimmed in gold. There is a speck of gold on the inside of the rim which is under the glaze from when it was made. Keep in mind that these pictures are magnified.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 3.25" from rim to rim and 3" high.
This gorgeous tea cup was manufactured by the Royal Standard Fine Bone China company in England during the 1950's. This is a company that is an acknowledged leader in fine design. It was owned by the Chapmans Longton Ltd from the Albert Works, Longton, England, Staffordshire Potteries.
This antique English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. We do not sell damaged items. There are no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. You may buy with confidence.
