Royal Standard Fine Bone China of England crafted this stunning tea cup and saucer.
Some pieces are pretty, even beautiful, but this antique teacup and saucer is artistic and detailed. The gold borders remind one of Versailles. The ruffles are subtle. The footed base and elegant handle are trimmed in gold.
The blue reminds one of a pale pastel sky.
This elegant teacup was manufactured by the Royal Standard Fine Bone China company in England during the 1950's. This is a company that is an acknowledged leader in fine design. It was owned by the Chapmans Longton Ltd from the Albert Works, Longton, England, Staffordshire Potteries.
