Happily entertain guests and family using this hand painted Haviland pitcher. The apples are nestled among the leaves. The trim is gold. The background is a pale green and the inside is a lovely white. This hand painted Haviland Limoges pitcher was produced between 1894 and 1931, sometime between the Victorian age and the roaring twenties.
The history of Limoges china begins in the late 1700s when kaolin was found in the soil near the city of Limoges in the region of France known as Limousin. Serves, the Royal porcelain factory at the time, was commissioned by the Royal Court of France to manufacture the fine porcelain dinnerware.
There are many companies that are called Limoges because it is from a region of France rather than from one company, but this is Haviland, one of the best.
The price also includes free US shipping and free shipping insurance.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
