This cute little Irish figurine symbolizes loyalty, unconditional love, protection and bravery. It is said that when a dog enters your life, you are indeed lucky.
This sweet little one wears the 9th blue mark which means it was made between 1997 and 2000.
The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits the produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.
The world took notice and since 1853, Belleek has been prized.
