Remarkable for its ability to coordinate with a variety of table linens and settings, this blue Jasperware Wedgwood teapot, creamer and sugar bowl is elegant. Notice that the inside on all three pieces is glazed.

We called this is a Tea for Two set. Yet, the teapot is actually holds 24 fluid ounces or technically it is considered a four cup pot. Teacups usually hold 6 ounces each. In other words, it is perfect for breakfast for two people or afternoon tea for two. It is also superb for an individual. These matching pieces are difficult to obtain.

This piece has the manufacturing date of 1960 for the creamer, 70 for the sugar bowl and 69 for the teapot, incised on the bottom. This is called Jasperware Wedgwood. It is noted for its velvety finish on the outside. The inside is shiny with holes in the neck to help strain the tea. The creamer is also glazed on the inside. The details are superb. For example, the spout is trimmed with a garland. This was done during the firing process. There is an air hole in the lid to prevent dripping when being poured.

Wedgwood of England is known for its use worldwide in the finest homes.

The price also includes free US shipping, and free insurance. This Wedgwood set is heavy and therefore is not eligible to be sent overseas.
