Not only is the cup and saucer scalloped but the teacup has swirl type panels. The gold trim creates the perfect frame for the blue blossoms, yet it is the blue sky that is filling the inside of the cup that makes it a step above average.
Founded in 1927 as the Salisbury Crown China Company, it was changed to Salisbury China in 1949. They manufactured at the Salisbury Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
