The company is legendary and its workmanship is superb. It was called Royal Cauldon after 1930. These pieces were produced around 1900 to 1910. The handles are gorgeous. The pattern is 8225. It was made exclusively made for an exclusive china shop in Boston called the Richard Briggs. It began in 1798. In 1861 the business was inherited by Richards Briggs. The company was known to be on Newbury Street by 1926 and closed around 1946.
Measurements: The cups are 3.2" from rim to rim and are 3" high, with the handle 3.5" high. The saucers are 5.25" in diameter.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
