This individual teapot was created in England by Roslyn Bone China. Inspired by the royal gardens of Windsor Castle, this pattern is called Minuet.
Roslyn China Co. Ltd of England crafted this elegant teapot. They were located in the Park Place Works, Longton, England. They produced lovely bone china beginning in 1946. Prior to that they were known as Reid & Co.
It holds 18 fluid ounces close to the rim. This is usually called a three cup teapot. It is a charming, intimate little vessel. There is a tab on the lid inside to help prevent it falling when pouring. There are built in holes to strain inside or it can be used to serve coffee. By using the registration mark on the bottom, we know that this was made in 1947.
Measurements: From the spout to the outer handle, it is 5.75". It is 3.5" wide and 8.25" high including the finial.
This elegant tea pot is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. There is an imperfection dot within the clay. It is not obvious. It can be seen in the pictures because we have magnified the pictures. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
