The Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company is the second oldest remaining English porcelain manufacturer. It is based in Derby, England and is particularly known for its high quality bone china. It has produced tableware and ornamental items since 1750. This particular teacup and saucer, its Posies pattern, was produced around 1950. Look closely and you will see the depth of the paint on the hand painted pieces. Derby has earned its stellar reputation. This is partially hand painted with a generous amount of gold and pretty scalloped edges.
