This teapot is in the China Blue pattern by Heinrich. During 1976, they were purchased by Villeroy and Boch. Sometimes this is called HC817, but in any case, it is now discontinued.
Notice that the lid has a flower blossom as its finial. It also has a lip under the lid to help it from falling while pouring. This item is now difficult to obtain.
