This is a wonderful navy velvet bag with beading and a large tassel. There is no breakage or holes. The corners are fine. The inside feels like taffeta. The closure is a metal kiss type.
From the top of the handle to the bottom of the tassel, it is 22". At the widest, it is 7". The drop on the handle to the bag is also 7".
From the top of the frame to the bottom of the beading, it is 9". At the top, it is 2.75" wide. When it is actually opened, it is 7.5" from the knob to the other knob.
The bottom beaded is 4" long and the tassel is 5.5" long.
The general feel is the same on both sides, but upon close inspection, there is actually a pattern on one side.
There are a couple of tiny spots where the color is gone on the navy velvet, but they do not stand out.
The coin purse inside is held by a metal rod which helps support the frame too.
This was probably made in the 1930s.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
