Offering a lustrous Wedgwood Bone China tea cup and saucer in the Columbia White, pattern number W545, crafted between 1924 and 1997, but now discontinued.
This is the footed teacup and saucer with the green border trim. There are golden griffons in the borders. Because the lion was traditionally considered the king of the beasts, and the eagle the king of the birds, by the Middle Ages, the griffin was thought to be an especially powerful and majestic creature.
