Beautiful, elegant and quite popular, this Wild Flowers pattern teacup and saucer is very much like the Shelley version. The shape is quite similar to the Shelley Dainty shape. Back in those days, there were no copyright laws. Therefore the best of each company was the inspiration for another company.
Crown Staffordshire of England created this mesmerizing tea cup and saucer with a variety of pretty flowers. From pink daisies to bluebells, the design feels like a summer garden in bloom.
Formerly the Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Company Ltd in 1889, they were renamed the Crown Staffordshire China Company Ltd in 1948. They were located at the Minerva Works in Fenton, England.
