High society delighted in fur and the coats have seen a revival in vintage clothing.
This particular brown mink jacket has been stored, glazed and cleaned with a professional furrier since it was purchased. It was top of the line in its day. The lining is a taupe brocade. There is a name, Anne, embroidered inside. There is fur under the collar so that it may be worn up or down. There are two front pockets. The sleeves are shorter so that one may wear long gloves under it. The two buttons are fur covered.
This is by S. Shuman of Boston. This was prestigious store beginning back in 1913. It is no longer a stand-alone store but eventually provided furs to quality stores.
It came from a smoke free home. From the collar to the bottom of the coat, in back, it measures 25". The front two pockets are 6" long. From the under-arm armhole to armhole in back is 24". From the shoulder to the bottom of the cuff is 18". Across the shoulders from the shoulder seam to shoulder seam at the top of the coat, it is 20".
This gorgeous fur would be considered a medium to large. Having said that, it is very roomy and would probably work for a 12 or 14. But please read the measurements to be sure for you. We are not experts at sizing. The model is 5' 1".
This fur jacket is in excellent condition. It is clean, soft and supple. There are no tears or holes. There are no stains. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. You may buy with confidence.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
