High society delighted in fur stoles, and they have seen a revival on the runways and in vintage clothing as well as glamorous winter weddings. This is a Hollywood style 1950 - 1960s garment.
This particular red fox stole was top of the line in its day. It was sewn from two large pelts. It came from an estate in Burlingame, California, traditionally a prestigious location. The label is from Peter R. Minudri who was a furrier located in both Hillsdale and Burlingame.

This is a stole that is a medium. It has a pocket on the side of each long tail. It is natural versus dyed too. The inside is a beige satin.
Measurements: It is 13" from the collar to the bottom on the back. From the collar to the shoulder edge, it is 17". Each flap is 8" wide at the bottom. It is 46" from one end to the other end.
