Marking the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, Foley Bone China created a design using crowns, her shield, and orb. Of course, the pattern is named Coronation.
The E is for Elizabeth, II because she is the second Queen Elizabeth and R stands for Regina, queen in Latin.
Foley was owned by the E Brain and Company, Ltd. They produced fine china at the Foley China Works in Fenton, England from 1948 to 1963 and were considered one of the finest of the Staffordshire potteries.
This teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
