Wear your Boy Scout shirt with a smile. It is from the 1960s.
For that special guy interested in a set. The shirt is 16.5" from the should seam to the other shoulder seam. From the back of the collarless neck, down the front over the buttons, it is 28.5". There is no size tag inside.
The buttons say Boy Scouts of America. None are missing. There are a few badges that were earned in the Natick, MA troop named Taunkacoo.
The pants have a 26" inseam. There is a 4" hem on the legs and therefore they could be adjusted. The waist is 28". It measures 10 1/4" from the top of the pants to the bottom of the crotch when flat. The zipper works well, the buttons are all there and the red trim is perfect.
This young man went on to become an eagle scout.
Both pieces are the traditional olive green material, probably cotton. The variations in color in the pictures is just our lighting. There is no fading.
The pieces are in excellent vintage condition. You may buy with confidence.
