This is a hand blown vintage cranberry glass pitcher. It was made around Victorian times.
The base has a cut and polished indentation where the pontil would have been cut off and polished.
It is heavy and lovely.
Cranberry glass is known for its gorgeous pink color which is a result of add gold chloride to the glass when it is being made. There are no cracks or scratches. Any lines you may see is the light reflecting while being photographed. There are soft panels in the piece which are 2" wide at the maximum.
Measurements: The round base is 3.5" in diameter. The ruffled top is 3.5" from rim to rim. From the spout to the outer handle, it is 7" long. It is 8" high. The widest portion of the beaded bulbous portion is 6" wide.
This pitcher is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
