The photographs were difficult. This outfit is NOT RED. It is a medium coral...NOT bright.
According to the Vintage Fashion Guild:
Kimberly Knitwear, Inc. was formed in 1946 by Jack and Helen Lazar. Their first product was wool sweaters, and the company later added matching knit skirts, dresses, suits, and coats made from double knit wool. Jack Lazar, who had extensive experience in the knitting trade, launched Kimberly after serving in the Army during World War II.
This is a 100% virgin wool pleated skirt and matching cardigan. The skirt is 31" long. The waist when relaxed is 24". When stretched, as in being worn, it can expand to 34". It has an enclosed strong elastic waist. It is about 60" around at the bottom of the hem.
The top is matching 100% wool. It is 19" from the shoulder-arm seam to the wrist. In the front, it is 17.5" from the neckline to the bottom of the sweater front. There is a 2.5" decorative ribbing type design at the waist. Inside the button holes have a matching grosgrain ribbon.
The front from sleeve seam to sleeve seam it is 13". In the back, sleeve to sleeve is 14". However, it is designed to have a set in sleeve which would allow a comfortable fit across the bust area. Note the heavy bead effect for trim at the neck. It also has rhinestones as well as the pretend pearls.
We were told that the original owner had a fabulous collection of first rate clothing and she was, they thought, around a size 8. Please read the measurements above. We are not experts at sizing. However it is small.
Please note that the price includes free shipping and free shipping insurance.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
