Royal Bayreuth, a prestigious company founded in Tettau, Bavaria, in 1794, produced this remarkable piece. The marks on the bottom, which evolved over the years, include the stylized crest, the name Royal Bayreuth, the word Bavaria, and a T in a shield. The crowned lion indicates it was made after 1900, and this specific mark dates it between 1902 and 1945.
