This the beautifully shaped Herend Chinese Bouquet Raspberry footed teacup and saucer. It was made in the 1950s.. Even the handle is hand decorated. There is a basket weave pattern incised into the top edge of the teacup as well as floating buds inside the cup. Herend even decorated the underside of the saucer. This is quality design.
Founded in 1826, Herend Porcelain Manufactory is one of the world's largest ceramic factories, specializing in luxury hand painted and gilded porcelain. In the mid-19th century it was purveyor to the Habsburg Dynasty and aristocratic customers throughout Europe. In 2011, Prince William and Catherine Middleton received a piece of Herend from the Hungarian government as a wedding gift.

This piece is in excellent condition. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a tiny speck or two from the time of manufacture because of the age of the porcelain.
