Royal Albert Bone China of England crafted this joyous curved tea cup and saucer. Touches of pink and lilac almost bring the flowers to life. Golden trim complete the artistic design.
Gay Day is a lovely teacup and saucer from the Garden Party Series created in the 1970s to 1980. It consisted of a series of six: Autumn Sunshine, Blue Bouquet, Gay Day, Pink Surprise, Spring Song, and Summer Skies The very popular Gainsborough shape with its unique handle was utilized.
Royal Albert was owned by Thomas C Wild and Sons Ltd and produced at the St. Mary's Works in Longton, England from 1917 onward.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The footed tea cup is 3" high and 3.75" from rim to rim.
This English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
