Paragon Fine Bone China of England produced a Patriotic Series of tea cups and saucers.
This one was crafted during the War of Britain, the Second World War air campaign waged by the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) against the United Kingdom during the summer and autumn of 1940.
Inside the low, wide mouthed cup is the flag of the Royal Air Force Ensign.
This tea cup and saucer proudly wears a double warrant backstamp from the Queens of England that were the mother and grandmother of the current Queen Elizabeth. The company was awarded them because of their quality craftsmanship and their service to the English Royal Family. The teacup is footed, gold trimmed and has the famous angel wing handle.
Measurements in inches and centimeters: The saucer is 5.5" (14 cm) in diameter. The cup is 2.25" (5.7 cm) high and 4" (10 cm) from rim to rim.

This baby blue English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There are a number of tiny mold marks under the saucer and a smudge on the teacup. All are under the glaze. This is an antique hand painted example of history. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
