Royal Albert of England crafted this teacup and saucer with a pedestal based cup, gold and scallops on the edges. The curves are perfectly balanced by their unique handle. This is called the Montrose shape. It is in the Trillium pattern. It was made from 1975 to 1997. The trillium flower symbolizes recovery, beauty and purity. Royal Albert was the upscale division of the Thomas C Wild and Sons company located in St. Mary's Works, Longton, England. They produced lovely bone china beginning in 1917.
