This elegant and very rare teacup and saucer was crafted by Paragon Bone China of England. Notice the wedding bells used as garland.
There is also a horse shoe for good luck and lily of the valley flowers. The blossoms were also known as May lily. They mean "return to happiness" and most often symbolizes purity, happiness, luck and humility.
Paragon, one of the finest china companies, received recognition for their quality from two Queens. In this case that was the grandmother and great grandmother of the current King Charles. It enabled them to use the double warrant on the bottom of the saucer. This is the backstamp used from 1939 to 1949.

Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2.25" high and 4" from rim to rim.
This lovely teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
