Inspired by a lush garden, this picturesque teacup and saucer is by Royal Sutherland Fine Bone China of England and the newer owner H and M. Sweet peas are the birth flower for April. It symbolizes blissful pleasure.
Royal Sutherland of England crafted this lovely antique bone china in the 1970s. Hudson & Middleton Ltd were important manufacturers of bone china. They produced under the name of Delphine until 1947 and then changed it to Royal Sutherland until 1975 when the company was sold.

This set is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. You may buy with confidence. We do not sell damaged items. In this case, there is a tiny fleck on the backside of the cup. That is a speck that became noticeable when it was removed from the oven after being made. It is under the glaze.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter." The cup is 3.5" from rim to rim and 2.6" high. It is 3" high including the handle.
