This lovely teacup and saucer is as charming as it is detailed. There is an English custom of bringing a teacup when invited to visit. By doing so, it becomes a remembrance of a friend. Hence, it is called a friendship cup. This pattern is the Forget me not Flowers. Perfect.
The vintage teacup and saucer was produced by Tuscan Fine Bone China of England during the 1950s. Tuscan has been producing since 1898. It is one of the most popular companies. Their production facility was in Longton, England. In 1978, they were taken over by the Wedgwood group and from then on only carried the Wedgwood logo.
