It's backstamp was first introduced in 1943. It is hand painted and looks like a shelf piece. It is glossy and the brush strokes are easily discernible.

Royal Chelsea was produced by its owner, The New Chelsea China Co, Ltd on Chelson Street in Longton, England. They were considered part of the Staffordshire Potteries.
This set is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
Measurements: The saucer has a 5.75" diameter. The cup is 3.9" from rim to rim and 2" high.
