Rudolf Wachter began in Germany in 1893. He was technical director of Wachter & Furbringer from 1914 to 1917. In 1917, Wachter took over and the company name became Rudolf Wachter Porzellan Manufaktury. The company closed in 1974.
Lavish use of gold makes this breathtaking. There is so much gold that the light bounces everywhere when taking pictures. It is a magnificent design.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 2" high and 4" from rim to rim.
