This lovely teacup and saucer is as charming as it is detailed. There is an English custom of bringing a teacup when invited to visit. By doing so, it becomes a token of friendship. Hence, it is called a friendship cup.

Here the Audubon Birds are featured. The cup has the Summer Tanager. The saucer has the Goldfinch.

The antique teacup and saucer was produced by Royal Tuscan Fine Bone China of England during the 1950s. Tuscan has been producing since 1898. It was one of the best companies. Their production facility was in Longton, England.

In 1978, they were taken over by the Wedgwood group and from then on only carried the Wedgwood logo.

Measurements: The saucer is 5.6" in diameter. The cup is 3" high and 3.5" from rim to rim.

This English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. We do not sell damaged items. There are no chips, stains, cracks or crazing. You may buy with confidence.
