AB Jones China bought out Grafton and became ABJ Grafton China of England. They produced this shapely, charming tea cup and saucer. The handle has an unusual shape, yet typical of the Art Deco period.
This backstamp was used in 1935. The pattern name is Ashley.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.25" in diameter. The cup is 3" high and 3.4" from rim to rim.
This historical tea cup and saucer is in good condition. There are no chips, cracks, stains or crazing. There is wear to the gold on the rim. It is considered a flaw. It is not damaged. However, we have lowered the price because of it. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
